MSK-IX to offer new solutions to European partners

Capacity Europe 2015, an annual international conference and exhibition, has opened in Paris for the 15th time. This year, the forum brings together over 1,500 participants from 370 companies. MSK-IX (Moscow Internet Exchange), a Russian Internet exchange point, is also attending the conference and has its own stand.

Capacity Europe, a large-scale and influential forum, gathers together representatives of the wholesale telecommunications market. Its speakers and guests include telecoms operators from Western and Central Europe, and also operators from Asia – China, Japan and others – that have been working on the European market. For three days, the participants will attend sessions, roundtables, debate panels and meetings that will allow them to share their expertise and establish business contacts with new partners.

MSK-IX's stand presents to the international community the company's proposals on peering. MSK-IX represents a bridge of sorts between East and West, which allows the company to offer its European and Asian partners optimal solutions for high-speed and reliable access to the networks of operators subscribed to MSK-IX, and also to offer opportunities for cooperation with Russian operators.

"For many international companies, their work on the Russian market began with contacting MSK-IX. Our package on setting up a network in Russia makes it possible to install the equipment and connect to Russian network operators in one go," said Yevgeny Morozov, head of sales at MSK-IX. New ideas of the Russian Internet exchange point will be discussed at bilateral meetings with European and Asian partners at the company's stand on the sidelines of the conference.
