TV and multimedia solutions to be discussed at TELCO TRENDS 2016
On August 17, the 6th international telecommunications conference and exhibition, TELCO TRENDS 2016 opened in Jurmala, Latvia, with the participation of over 400 leading industry experts from the EU and CIS countries. TELCO TRENDS will host exhibitions of content and technical novelties – television and multimedia solutions from the world’s leading producers. The participants will have an opportunity to learn about new channels, development plans and latest technology.
A delegation from MSK-IX is represented by Yevgeny Morozov, its commercial director and Sergei Kiselev, the head of its development projects. Kiselev will address the forum tomorrow, on August 18. He said this event offers a wonderful opportunity to develop cooperation with foreign partners and to present the Media Logistics project. Kiselev emphasized the importance of Latvia for Russia’s Internet segment and said Latvia was among the top ten countries using Russian media websites. In his address Kiselev intends to describe cooperation between Russian and Latvian Internet providers, the development of peering in Moscow and St. Petersburg, opportunities for reciprocal placement of customer servers in major data centers, delivery of media content to Russian broadcasters and other major issues.
