DOT Journalism is an annual competition for journalists and bloggers who write about domains and other internet addressing systems. It is organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ (CCTLD) with support from the Russian Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC) and the accredited domain name registrar REG.RU.

The main goal of the competition is to popularize the subject of domains among internet users, explain the benefits of owning a domain, improve the quality of materials on internet addressing systems, and praise journalists and bloggers covering trends, phenomena and key events in the domain industry.

Pavel Khramtsov, from InData Foundation, is one of the most respected and authoritative experts in the professional internet community. He won the award in the What’s Inside? category for the best material about network infrastructure: his article “Artificial Intelligence in the Documents of the Internet Engineering Task Force”, published in issue No. 18 of the Internet from the Inside magazine, dove into artificial intelligence. In this article, the author analyzed the RFC (Request for Comments, a document containing technical specifications and standards used on the internet) to find out whether there were standards related to artificial intelligence there.

In receiving the award, Pavel Khramtsov thanked the competition’s organizers and recommended that the guests read Internet from the Inside to keep abreast of current trends in the development of the internet industry.

“The InData Foundation for the Development of Networking Technologies is focused on research aimed at improving network parameters. Internet from the Inside is a very
good professional magazine that should be read anyone who wants to join the world of internet technologies and navigate its intricacies,” Pavel Khramtsov said.
