The event featured two simultaneous tracks: Infrastructure and Network Services and Video Stream, enabling participants to explore specialized topics in depth and exchange expertise. Over 60 speakers from diverse sectors of the media and telecom industries contributed to the discussions at the Peering Forum 2024.

Speakers presented reports, highlighted notable cases, and addressed pressing issues impacting the Russian market. Among the presenters were top experts and executives from major companies like Rostelecom, VimpelCom, Tricolor, VK, Yandex, Ivi, Rutube, and others.
Key discussions focused on the regulation of Russia’s media and telecom sectors.
The forum featured seven panel discussions covering crucial topics such as technological advancements, traffic growth, cyber threats, and emerging opportunities within the industry. This established the event as a vital platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange among industry leaders.

“The Peering Forum continues to be a cornerstone event for the telecom community, showcasing steady development. Each year, the forum attracts an increasing number of participants and experts, underscoring its significance and relevance to the industry.
I admire the entire team behind this event and take immense pride in the forum, which brought together over 1,000 participants. This forum is more than just an event; it is a thriving community of professionals dedicated to advancing the domestic telecom and media industries. I am truly grateful to everyone involved, as our community continues to grow year after year,” said Alexei Kostin, head of the Peering Forum 2024 organizing committee.

This year’s forum offered participants a diverse array of topics, including advancements in network infrastructure development, regulatory aspects of the industry, innovative approaches for video content creation and distribution, and more.
A notable highlight of the Peering Forum 2024 was the presentation of the latest edition of Andrei Robachevsky’s book, The Internet from the Inside: The Architecture of the Internet Ecosystem.
Beyond the comprehensive business agenda, speakers and attendees had the opportunity to network and arrange meetings through a dedicated forum application, creating exceptional opportunities for professional connections and collaboration.

“For the 19th time, the Peering Forum has proven that the Russian telecom and media markets continue to evolve dynamically, with growing interest in platforms for sharing professional expertise and knowledge. We are proud that the forum has become a key milestone in uniting and strengthening our community over the years, and we are confident it will become even larger and more impactful in the future,” CEO of MSK-IX Yevgeny Morozov said.
