MSK-IX presented the latest innovations of its Mediabaza platform for content distribution at the World Content Market 2025 (WMC) international conference, which takes place in Moscow from April 8 to 10. The speaker, platform manager Dmitry Rassadin, focused on its innovative AI-enabled tools designed to simplify and speed up content distribution.

Mediabaza is positioned on the market as a new generation marketplace that creates a seamless and intuitive ecosystem for all market participants from large television channels to independent studios. The platform is designed to become an effective tool for searching, purchasing and delivering content, saving its partners’ resources and time.

He spoke at length about the platform’s built-in AI services such as subtitle generation and translation. The respective speech-to-text tool will create high-quality subtitles even for content with a less than clear audio in more than 100 languages with accurate timestamping.

“Our AI-enabled subtitle generator delivers an adequate result with a minimum of manual editing required. The system does not only perform speech-recognition and timecoding with high accuracy, but also can processes an hour-long video in just six minutes,” Dmitry Rassadin explained. In addition to creating AI voiceovers, especially for documentaries, this tool makes it much easier to localize content for different markets. Artificial intelligence also helps automate the creation of captions and promo videos.

These tools are integrated into an easy-to-use content management system (CMS) that enables secure storage, cataloging, and reliable delivery of content. In the near future, this functionality will be supplemented with a built-in CRM system for direct interaction between partners.

Dmitry Rassadin stressed that the platform works exclusively with legal participants in the media market after verifying them to ensure security. At the same time, basic features such as user registration and uploading content to the storefront are available free of charge, opening the door for companies of all sizes. Advanced features and AI tools are available with fee-paying plans.

“We are happy to invite content producers to join the platform – the basic registration is free. We need your content, which is in great demand from television networks and online services that are already our partners,” Dmitry Rassadin said addressing market participants.

The World Content Market conference has once again reaffirmed its status as a key platform for media industry professionals, bringing together more than 1,500 participants from Russia and other countries.
