MSK-IX among the first to update the Route Server routing policy in accordance with RFC
Some time ago, the IETF adopted RFC 7999. In particular, a special number was selected from a predetermined range and registered by IANA in the "BGP Well-known Communities" registry for BGP Community. IANA has registered it as Blackhole with the value 65535:666 in decimal notation.

Medialogistics project presented at Euro-IX forum
On November 7-8, Krakow, Poland, hosted the 29th Euro-IX biannual forum. Held since 2001, this year the forum marks 15 years since its inception. Over 130 people representing 41 companies and organizations attended the forum, including representatives of traffic exchange centers, hardware manufacturers and software developers, technology experts and other industry professionals.

On October 28, MSK-IX held the MSK-IX TV EVENT SPB roadshow for cable operators, to present a new TV VLAN service, which enables cable operators to receive TV signals from broadcasters without intermediaries. Yevgeny Morozov: Business in Russia is done by people, not tariffs
On May 19, St. Petersburg played host to the 6th Russian IPv6 Day forum. It took place, as usual, at the Popov Central Museum of Communications, which has become the symbol of the forum, Guests of the Russian IPv6 Day love to explore the museum's unique collection tracing the history of communications: from mail, telegraph and telephone to radio and television and, finally, to mobile and satellite-based communications. The conference is traditionally organized by the MSK-IX company in cooperation with the Technical Center of Internet (TCI).
